Explorea.A is a Trojan that is run whenever files with certain extensions are run, such as EXE or COM files.
Additionally, it gathers information about the programs that are being run, as well as the execution date and time.
On the other hand, it carries out several modifications in the Windows Registry, which prevent the user from carrying out the following actions:
Running files in a fast and straight way, as it disables the option Run from the Start menu.
Modifying the configuration of the features of the folders.
Explorea.A does not spread automatically by its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
