Brief Description
Nautunit.A is a Trojan that carries out several modifications in the Windows Registry, which prevent the user from working with the computer as usual.
These modifications prevent the user from carrying out the following actions, among others:
Doing searches and running files in a fast and straight way, as it disables the options Search and Run from the Start menu.
Modifying the configuration of the features of the folders.
Additionally, it restarts the computer when it detects a window whose title contains certain text strings related to security and system programs.
Nautunit.A reaches the computer in a file that passes itself off as an image, in order to deceive users. However, Nautunit.A does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
