Brief Description
Rungbu.D is a worm that reaches the computer passing itself off as a Word document, in order to deceive users so that they do not think that what has been run is the worm.
Additionally, it changes the default icon of the Word documents to a similar one created by itself and reduces the information about the files displayed when the cursor is placed over them.
Rungbu.D spreads through mapped, shared and removable drives, making copies of itself in them.
Visible Symptoms
Rungbu.D is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
